The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC) is now hiring for a “Connecting People with Land Program Associate.”
This Program Associate works collaboratively with the Associate Director and other staff to: Plan, arrange, and oversee improvements at SAHC’s Community Farm events venue and nature preserves; manage these properties for listing as short-term vacation rentals, weddings and other special events; assist with evaluating structures at SAHC properties and make decisions in coordination with SAHC staff on how to meet program goals; oversee making necessary repairs to facilities; manage the process of making improvements to SAHC’s office building and ongoing maintenance; serve as staff liaison to our “Connecting People with Land” committee group; and more.
